Submitted By: Allen Klesh: I'm one of those people that are called “information whores”. I’m always reading the latest news sites and web logs. When I had the chance to order Wired magazine from Mags4Cheap.com at a GREAT price I did it.
If you are interested in high tech, then Wired magazine is worth a look. You would think that having the website available would not mean having to get the magazine, but the content of each is unique and diverse enough for this not to be true.
While the magazine does cover a number of different topics; you never really know what you’ll be seeing each month, there are a number of articles you’ll see each month.
“Artifacts from the Future”, found on the last page, always makes me think.
“Rants and Raves”, user feedback. Just reading some of these makes me wonder about the other readers
“Fetish” is a column all about technology. Letting you know of the newest and the must have.
“Must Read” is a series of short columns devoted to doings in the technology industry.
Street Credibility and Best are two long-running sections featuring reviews of books, music, television shows, movies, and technology products.
To be honest there are more sections, but as I never read them I’m not really sure what they are. Wired is a good coffee table magazine, quick to pick up while you’re waiting for something else to happen. I really enjoy it. If there was one thing that I would say I didn’t’ like it’s the number of ads that they have. Not in the number of ads itself as I understand they have to make money and the only way to keep the price low is the ad money, but that it breaks up the articles so they you’re skipping around. I hate that.
